Book Review - Twisted Lies

Image
Twisted Lies by Ana Huang Rating - 5 stars WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD This book was definitely my 2nd favorite book in the series! (Twisted Games being my first fav) The entire story just pulled me in so much that I found myself unable to put the book down. I was constantly wanting to know what happened next. I liked how this one didn't have as much spice in it. Of course, I love the spice and I enjoyed it in the other books, but it was a nice change. This book was definitely a very slow burn, but I really enjoyed that aspect. It was a nice change because I think that Twisted Hate went too quickly for me, personally.  I LOVED Christian. Him and Rhys are definitely the best book boyfriends in the whole series. I felt like Alex and Josh were both so cold to begin with, and they still seem like assholes to me. Christian was always so respectful of Stella and I loved that.  I thought the stocker thing made the book pretty thrilling, so I liked that piece of it. Although, I feel like the

Book Review - Twisted Hate

Twisted Hate by Ana Huang RATING: 4/5 stars WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD  Let me just start off by saying that this book had me blushing HARD. This was probably the spiciest book I've ever read. It was almost like every other chapter had a sex scene.  I did enjoy this book, but it also feel like it went too fast for me. I didn't necessarily want a slow burn but it also felt like the relationship developed too quickly. Jules and Josh went from loathing each other to banging practically over night. It was a great book and I did like their relationship, but I just think it went a little too fast for me.  I liked how they included the whole blackmailing thing and all the stuff about Jules' past, so it wasn't completely about sex and romance. It was cool to learn how Jules had a whole other past that she was hiding from everyone. And I like how Josh didn't judge her for it.  However, Josh did piss me off when he decided to sleep with Jules one more time before saying the most

Book Review - Twisted Games

Twisted Games by Ana Huang  WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD  Rating: 5/5 stars  I honestly did not think that I would love this book as much as I did. Everything about it was flawless. I have been super into the whole royalty theme lately and this book was perfect. Bridget is such an amazing character. I love how independent and strong she is. She doesn't take shit from anyone and definitely doesn't let men tell her what to do. (unless it's Rhys, of course)  I love how Rhys and Bridget's relationship slowly blossomed and they went from not being able to stand each other to being unable to stay apart. Rhys' devotion to Bridget made me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. The way he truly loved her and would do anything to keep her safe and happy was so sweet and made me truly want that type of love.  I did not expect the twist of Andreas and Lord Erhall being related to Rhys. I thought that was a very cool thing to add, though. It definitely came as a surprise. I also was very sur
